A Boeing prototype for an entirely new aircraft gets line number (or fuselage number) 1 (one). Every aircraft of the same type or (sub-)series gets a consequent line number. This is not in the same order as the constructionnumber (or manufacturers serial number). An exeption was made for the 737 Next Generation, when a new start was made to clearly distinct them from the original 737. Here are the line numbers in sequential order. The type shown is how it came off the productionline. For conversions or new designations, check the production list.
